The Trustees discussed the Brocklebank account. The money was donated for future installation of a water source in the East Cemetery. The Trustees did not make any decisions.

Doug and Jeff met with the selectmen last month to discuss the 2007 Cemetery budget. The selectmen recommended the following changes.

• Encumber funds from the 2006 wall account. $2250
• Reduce the requested $8700 to $8000 from the 2007 wall account

Overall the selectmen’s meeting went well. Doug suggested that we keep track of revenue including perpetual care and sale of lots. The Trustees want to remind the Selectmen that they bring in approximately $8000-$10,000 a year to offset their budget request.

The Trustees figure if they encumber $2250 from the wall account as requested they might be approximately $260 over budget, assuming the $460 in the encumbered surveying line could not be expended for the purpose of maintenance. The secretary agreed to inform Paul Calabria, finance dept, of this discrepancy.

Nancy informed the Trustees that Ekstrom had already completed the fall clean up. Doug visited all of the cemeteries and said they looked great. He did mention that East Cemetery might have been done a bit early. He felt too many leaves fell after the clean up was done.

There were no incidents on Halloween in any of the cemeteries.

Doug will contact Kevin Gardner to have him sign a copy of the proposal he submitted to construct the Churchyard Cemetery wall. Doug agreed to forward the signed copy to Paul Calabria so that the $2250 could be encumbered.
