Minutes September 21, 2006
Attendees: Joe Oliver, Jeff Snow and Nancy Bell
Absent: Doug Gagne – Chairman and Chris Buzzy

The meeting was held in the Pine Hill Cemetery and was called to order at 6:00 pm.
Minutes
Nancy moved to approve the minutes of August 17, 2006 as submitted. Joe seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Inspection of Pine Hill Cemetery
Overall the Cemetery looked great. The Trustees noticed a couple of strips of grass that must have been missed by the mower but were generally happy with the condition of the cemetery.
Jeff snow repaired the Willard Stone that was broken in half.
These stones were in disrepair:
Jaquith, Lucie Frances - moved from foundation
Jaquith, Thomas – slate broken at bottom of stone
Durant – knocked off base
Butterfield - broken
Bruce, Sarah – broken in half
The secretary agreed to contact the DPW to check if the following work had been done last month.
Fill the large hole at the entrance of the South Cemetery
The Sudbury stone in the EAST Cemetery needs to be put back in place it was knocked over.
Nancy to ask Ekstrom to handle the following items:
1. Nancy was to ask Ekstrom, in October, to start fall clean up and mow one more time.
Old Business
Jeff did not believe that Medlyn Monument had started work on any of the repairs in the Churchyard Cemetery. The Trustees agreed that they should postpone this work until next year. Jeff agreed to inform Dick Medlyn of their decision.
Jeff asked if the Zinanni stone had been moved to its correct location (East Cemetery)
Chris Buzzy was handling this matter and was not in attendance.
New Business
The secretary agreed to contact Chief Ux to set up detail work for Halloween this year.
The trustees discussed changes to the proposed 2007 budget. They would keep almost everything the same but would increase the maintenance and cemetery wall line items.
Nancy moved to approve the budget as discussed. Joe seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

Next Meeting will be held October 19, 2006 at 7:00 PM in the Lower Town Hall.
Jeff moved and Nancy seconded to adjourn. The motion carried unanimously.

NOTE: The secretary spoke to Jeff Babel, DPW, on 9-27-06. Jeff stated the following items had been done:
The hole at the entrance of the South Cemetery had been filled.
The poison ivy in the South Cemetery had been sprayed.
The Sudbury stone in the East Cemetery was put back in place.
The Zinanni stone was moved to its correct location.
