Hollis Cemetery Trustees
Minutes February 17, 2005
Attendees: Chris Buzzy - Chairman, Jeff Snow and Joe Oliver
Absent: Nancy Bell and Kathy Albee
The meeting was held in the Lower Town Hall and was called to order at 7:00 pm.
Minutes
Chris moved to approve the minutes of January 20, 2005 as amended. Joe seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Jeff abstained
Old Business
Chris sent a letter on behalf of the Trustees denying a request of a resident to have the cemeteries plowed during winter.
The Trustees discussed many different options for maintenance of the cemeteries. Chris proposed they determine the work that would need to be done, put together a proposal then approach companies.
They decided grub control in July and over seeding and fertilization in the fall were necessary this year. Joe was asked to get prices for these services.
New Business
Jeff wanted to discuss paving the new portion of the East Cemetery. He asked that everyone give some thought to the idea to discuss next month. Chris suggested having a discussion next month about all aspects of the new section of the East Cemetery. Chris felt the Trustees should establish a five-year plan. Chris tabled this discussion until next month.
The Trustees explored the option of changing their rules to no longer allow winter burials. Chris tabled this discussion until all members were present.

Next Meeting will be held March 17, 2005 at 7:00 PM in the Lower Town Hall.
Jeff moved and Chris seconded to adjourn. The motion carried unanimously.
